Any plans for Bastille Day?!

Hello my friend!

I hope you’re enjoying Summer to its fullest. There’s a lot of crazy things happening in the world right now and while it almost feels strange to invite you to a concert, in some ways this might be the absolute most healing activity we can possibly do, collectively.

“My heart, which is so full to overflowing, has often been solaced and refreshed by music when sick and weary.” These wise words spoken by Dr. Martin Luther King couldn’t resonate more in this current climate. This is why I’d be absolutely honored if you’d accept my invitation to enjoy some quality time together, take this opportunity to spread joy, positive vibes and laughter all through music.

If you’re dreaming of celebrating all things French, and hope to recreate an evening reminiscent of the Parisian cabarets of 1940’s and 1950’s, please join my gypsy Jazz band Nuage Rhythm for our Bastille Day Celebration at Joe’s Pub on July 14th, 7pm! For this occasion, I’ll be accompanied by Hyuna Park (piano & accordion) and Elias Bailey (upright bass), and joined by Sara L’Abriola (gypsy guitar) & Grammy-winning Linus Wyrsch (clarinet) on select numbers. It will be a true musical dream team!

As mentioned on Eric’s blog, which is a fantastic resource for francophones residing in or visiting NYC; songs by: Charles Trenet, Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, and many more of France’s national musical treasures will be featured at this fête and select anecdotes & stories from my favorite French artists (and yours truly!) will be at the rendez-vous. The show is also featured on BroadwayWorld’s and the French Embassy’s pages. Please feel free to share with your family & friends! :)

It would mean the world to me if you brought your joie-de-vivre and celebrated with us. After all, how often do you get invited to an awesome French party, with some of NYC’s finest musicians at one of the Big Apple’s most prestigious venues?!

Looking forward to seeing you on July 14th, 7pm @ Joe’s Pub, my friend ;)
